Monday chores

Bryn and I finally got busy and cleaned the fridge...it is not a favorite chore and has been put off for WAY too long. After looking at all the blog links Saundra sent me, I decided to be a good mom and get busy! can you tell how hard I worked????Actually I was at the sink washing all the drawers as Bryn pulled them out!! At last, a job well done!

Alex had fun riding a pony that belonged to the Helterbrans as well as watching the rodeo on Sunday.

We have come to the conclusion that our family is in the rodeo for entertainment, not show!!! Bryn leaped for Shy as Wilson rode her around, but fell off on the way around...they managed to get it together and made it back to the gate, but not in time to win!! NICE TRY!

MABC Rodeo

We all love rodeo Sunday!! Bryn and Dash did some barrel racing and a race against Heidi and Leah...that didn't go so
well......Dash decided to take a shortcut across the arena and ran full speed into Heidi and Dolly..Needless to say, the
girls were a little sore for a few days!!!
Wilson and Shy did the grand enty and a cowboy pickup with Bryn.
Jeff just did the grand entry on Freedom....she hasn't been ridden too much and she did awesome!

Picnic with Friers

We got together with the Matt, Becki and the Friers for a picnic last night. The weather cooled down perfectly for it. The boys had a blast playing in the sand and swinging after we ate!

The rest of us enjoyed relaxing around the delicious food...GLAD I got to try one of Becki's special deviled eggs before they were gone!!!

Cool Keep Away!

Our pool has been a blessing these last few hot days! The boys have enjoyed coming home after work and falling in to cool off! They seem to have the most fun when they are all in there playing!! Having Dad swim too is better yet!

Here is a picture of my baby. She is growing up fast and very stubborn.....they say pets reflect the attitude of their owner? I don't think there is anything to that though..
