Happy Birthday Tyler!

Tyler turned 20 on December 27! We took him shopping and out to supper and then came home and had cake and presents...

We got him the Mario Winter Olympics for the Wii and spent the rest of the evening trying our skill at Bobsledding and downhill skiing...

Hope he made a good wish....he blew them all out!

Christmas pic

I thought it would be fun to take a family picture in the snow today...the snow that I have been praying for...I got a new tripod for the camera so we could just set the timer and all be in the picture!

Merry Christmas from the Leppert family!

First Snow

The first big snow...enough to go Sledding! We picked up Ryan and Reed and hit the slope! Nice thing about homeschooling...everyone else was at school so we had the whole hill to ourselves!!

Trying out Ryan's snowboard

I think we all had fun...I even went down a time or two on the saucer....

The end vote was that Alex's sled was the best one!...at least for this kind of snow!

Moving fence

Freedom.

Jeff liked this picture...bryn didn't...

I was busy documenting the day while Jeff and Bryn were out moving fence...we had put up some new fence and had to wait until after harvest to put the rest of it up. It wasn't the nicest day to be out working on fence....cool, breezy and a little rainy....but it was the only day Jeff had!

The horses are all in one BIG pasture now and I think they are liking it....after they established the "pecking" order!!!

Feeding horses

While we were out last weekend working on some fence, Emily and Alex were feeding the horses some corn...
I thought it was a cute picture...

A November ride

Since this was one of the last gorgeous days we are supposed to have....we cleared our calendar and went riding in the timber! It was a beautiful day!!

We rode til it was almost dark...the sunset was incredible tonight! I rode Dash...he was almost perfect..highly unusual for him!! ;-)

Jeff and Bryn went on one last ride and I stayed with Alex...don't know if you can tell..but there are about 15 deer in the field... I don't remember when I have had such a pleasant afternoon!!!

Helping Grandpa

We rode over to help Grandpa load up a bunch of wood he had cut...

We picked up all the wood....

...and threw it into the back of the pickup!

What a gorgeous day to be outside!!!
