More storms!
We saw some pretty unusual clouds tonight..
Although it looked pretty threatening for a while, we didn't end up getting too much...it did rain pretty good and a little wind, but nothing compared to what it looked like was coming our way!

Our 22nd wedding anniversary!
Jeff and I celebrated our Anniversary yesterday by going to Iowa City for the day! Wilson gave us enough money to eat out at Olive Garden...!
I had a DELICIOUS Chicken Scampi with the famous salad and breadsticks. I have always wanted to try the eggplant parmesan, but am afraid I won't like it. So I always stick with something safer...and I enjoyed every bite of it!!!!

Flowers
This poor tree..it is a wonder it has survived at all..every cat on the property thinks it is a scratching post for them! Surprisingly it just keeps growing...
This cat was determined to get in my pictures today!! She went flyng in front of me right as I snapped the picture..for the umpteenth time today...Jeff built me this planter yesterday and then brought home some geraniums to put in it. I need to get a few more..I planted some of the other things he brought home in other places...if you look closely, you can see the peppermint plant that Nancy gave me to try. I don't want it in the planter, but am waiting for my spot by the shed...it is being used for other purposes right now....
Flower pictures
I love this time of year! I got some new planters at an auction a few weeks ago and Jeff helped me pick out some plants to go in them..Geraniums were on sale at HyVee for .59 for a 4 pack..a few of those and a spiky plant in the middle makes a perfect planter for me!
My poor little one eyed guardian of the flower bed...in the middle of my snow-on-the-mountain patch..it started out one small plant a few years back and has pretty well taken over. I think I want to pull it out and go back to an annual flower bed.
