Christmas Eve

All I can say is...IT WAS A PERFECTLY WONDERFUL EVENING!

Bryn and Tyler put together a few treats and snacks for us to munch on. Tradional Christmas Eve goodies...Little smokies, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers some fruit, fudge and puppy chow...along with some punch to drink...It was a festive fun filled evening with lots of happy memories.

Jeff reading us the Christmas story out of Luke 2...the REAL reason for the celebration! God sending His precious Son...a gift to us...to come and pay for our sins so that we can have eternal life...the BEST gift!

Jeff and the kids went together and got me a zoom lens!!!!! Just ignore the unmatched outfit...I HAD to try on the scarf when I opened it.....
and HOPEFULLY I will learn how to use Photoshop now...Wilson got me a how to book...Photoshop Simplified!

Sunday special music

Our family had the opportunity to sing a special for church last Sunday evening. Even when I was little, I always thought it would be so fun to have a family that could sing together..God has been so good to fulfil my hearts desire! Merry Christmas everyone!

I had never tried this before..but I found this kit on sale at walmart this week and decided to let Alex try it...

Jeff helped him put it together and get started..

Then he took over and decorated it.

Bryn helped him finish up..although I think he was more excited about saving some candy to just eat than he was about actually decorating it!!

Last night I got a few minutes to catch a few shots of these two cuties!!

Tomorrow is the big day!

The boys will be home tomorrow night .LATE. but tomorrow night!!! Bryn, Alex and I have been busy decorating and getting ready for them to come home...The tree is up and there are a few goodies made..the presents are wrapped and placed under the tree and the lights are on outside..waiting...

The Blizzard...

After we did the paper route today, I asked Jeff to pick up the camera and go back down the road to get a few pictures..it was so beautiful out!! Well...beautiful to LOOK at..NOT to be OUT IN!!

These are taken down by the river where the wind wasn't blowing quite as much...the trees were all covered in snow.

It was a little like a fairy land...

But can I say..my boots are NOT waterproof...by the time we got the paper route done, dug out of a snow bank and finished the pictures....my toes were red and frozen and my fingers were COLD...... when we got home, I was thankful to get in out of the wind and get warm and dry again!

WInter weather....is....HERE!

I am thinking winter is really here....this is the forecast for our area tomorrow and Wednesday..doesn't it look exciting???? Well..maybe...but the timing is not the best. This coming weekend is our big Live Animal Christmas Play and we need our practices tonight and tomorrow night to get it all polished up and perfected!! Plus, the boys are coming home this Friday night and I don't want anything to hinder getting them here!!!!

Looks a little cold for me!!! Hope Wilson is true to his word and brings home some California sunshine with him!!! Better bring home your hoodies and long johns guys!!!

It's beginning to look alot like CHRISTMAS!!

We got our first REAL snow last night!!

It is so beautiful outside..makes it seem more like Christmas time is coming!! Only 4 more days til my boys come home!!!
