  We took a few more pictures of Jessica today…I am having fun practicing and she is getting a few extra pictures!! :-)This was Bryn’s idea…to do the black and white.. Thanks for putting up with all our crazy ideas!!

Bryn has been wanting to change her blog header picture so we headed out late this afternoon to try to get a shot she would like... The first four here are probably my favorites, although it is really hard for me to pick..!!!

Jeff said this was his favorite! I think it might be mine too...it shows that fun side of Bryn that she doesn't share tooooo often...

Just realized here that the back side of the barn is incredible!!

Home made pizza night...

I haven't made home made pizza for a while and it sounded really good tonight!

Dessert Pizza

I have been wanting to try my hand at making a dessert pizza....tonight I had time and energy so ...I did! Rolled out the crust and sprinkled it with a little cinnamon and sugar...

Cooked some sliced apples with butter, cinnamon and sugar...

Made an apple crisp topping...

Put it all together and baked it on my baking stone..after it came out of the oven, Jeff made a powdered sugar glaze to put over the top!!! It turned out WAY good!! (If I do say so myself....:-)

A Surprise Visit!

WE had a surprise visit from two cute little girls today! Alex came running back to my room to tell me the girls were at Grandpa’s house with Uncle Rob!! He was soooo excited to see them…it has been a while.

So he invited them over to jump on the trampoline and then come in a play a quick game of chinese checkers before they had to leave…They have really grown up since I saw them last!

By far…the BEST investment we have ever made…was a trampoline..we have had more than one due to storms and excessive usage…and I do mean year round excessive usage!!

Alex has already burnt off more calories than I have ever consumed….He spends a LOT of time outside jumping, playing basketball and practicing flips!!

Good morning!

Started out the day bright and early…before the sun was up! Headed off to take Bryn to DriversEd…3 weeks done!  When we got home, I realized that this was the first day in a LONG time that I have at home…all day…no place to go…unless I WANT to…NO place..til Saturday morning..WOW! I am looking forward to playing on the new computer..trying to figure it out. Windows 7 is pretty cool…but different than what I am used to…AND the key board actually has all the buttons in working order!! I want to take some pictures to put on the new computer so I can see how they look on a bigger screen….blog from windows live writer….clean the house..watch a movie…spend some time outside…catch up on my Bible reading!! Plenty of ideas of things to do…I don’t get bored….

Reflecting...

I was driving home this afternoon and stumbled across this little ...lake? pond? and thought it would be a good picture spot...I love the clear reflections of the trees on the water!!! When I got home, I was looking back over my other posts today and realized I needed to make something clear!! I made a comment about Saundra and I having a friendly discussion about Isai's name and it maybe came across that we were fussing...NOT SO!! We spend a LOT of time together in the nursery and enjoy giving each other a time about things, but all in fun!! When I write something out, it is hard to see the humor and the smile on my face to know it is a FUN thing...I do love to tease and joke, but it doesn't always come across right on "paper"!! So ... in reflecting today... just wanted to make sure that was clear...

Spanish Family Conference

We had our first ever Spanish Family conference this weekend! It started Friday at 9am and went til 9pm..then again all day Saturday and then Sunday from 12:30 til 9pm...I was in charge of the nursery so I spent just about the whole weekend in the nursery taking care of some pretty cute kids!!! I did leave about 90 min early Saturday evening and I had a short photo shoot Saturday afternoon for about an hour..other than that..I was in the nursery..or close by! We had some awesome meals provided by church ladies...the evening meal was provided by a Spanish couple in the church that used to own a mexican resturant...YUM!

Christina and Yanelli...first time ever to visit us!

Isai and Pooh...his best friend for the weekend! His name is pronounced E-sie-E..Isai's mom..who doesn't speak much english told her it is spelled  Esae...his older sister who DOES speak english told me it is ISAI...so I am going with that one!!!

We had a wonderful weekend with our Spanish friends!! The conference was a huge success and hopefully some life changing decisions were made!
