Sad Kitty

Callie was up on the coffee table last night rubbing up against Wilson's picture...She sat there for quite a while...poor kitty...look at those sad eyes.......

Getting Hay

We headed out shortly before 7 this morning to try and beat the rain.....not looking good!

Bryn was thinking it was awfully early for a Monday morning...

We got a full load of hay and got almost home before the rain started...it moved in faster than expected!

Driving Lessons

Bryn just got her permit and we had our first driving lesson at the fairgrounds yesterday. She did awesome...Mom is always a little nervous but after once around the parking lot, she drove like she had been driving for years!!

Alex wasn't sure it was all that good of an idea with him in the car. He made sure he was buckled up tight, ready for anything!!!

Grandma Rose's Birthday Party

Some of the family got together to celebrate Mom's "50th" birthday! (or so she says!)

I baked the cake and Jeff decorated it.

Everyone helped out and brought some food...Tom was up at 4 this morning getting the KFC chicken started........ I was lazy and bought my chocolate topped oatmeal bars at the store.......Aunt Pris made some awesome potato salad and Mom especially enjoyed the pistachio pudding salad she brought.

Aunt Pris and Uncle Jim came to help celebrate and remember the day!

Tyler played "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" for us while we sang.

Mom "borrowed" my sunglasses and wouldn't take them off. She had a wonderful day with all the family that came. That is the happiest and most pleasant I have seen her for a long time!

Tom got her a camera to play with and she had a blast taking all our pictures!

Pitching lessons
