New Bedset
I was so excited..I have been looking at this comforter set all spring and summer, but couldn't bring myself to spend over $200 on it. I was up at the mall a few weeks ago and stumbled across this one last comforter set, in just the size I needed for my bed...on clearance for half of the half price!!!! I was pretty excited to say the least! Now, inspired by Sarah, I am wanting to paint my dresser....looking for suggestions as to what color would look good?? I am kind of leaning towards the darker red(my favorite color at the moment) or maybe a sagey green tone? Let me know what your opinions are!

hm... both would be great, it would depend too what is in the rest of your room..
This might not work w/the style of your dresser...but you could paint the top or the front of the drawers different colors then the rest of the dresser. I've seen this done in furniture makeovers in Good Housekeeping...and it looks awesome.
Red would really tie things together nicely with the bedspread. The other thing you could do to spice things up a bit is to change the hardwear of the dresser. New knobs or handles might just the way to go.
