We headed up to the horse sale and spent the morning looking at horses and watching tack sell...I left for a bit and went to see mom and wish her a Happy Birthday! Then we headed home after lunch and loaded up the horses to head out to brinton timbers to ride with Hammes. We decided to take Dash at the last minute....I have been riding Shy since wilson left!! I am for SURE that he had a smile on his face when we loaded him into the trailer...we have been leaving him at home since he doesn't always behave himself.. Alex decided that he was going to ride him and we ended up on a 2 1/2 hour trail ride..he did fantastic! Dash always has liked Alex best!
Bryn took "the Princess" out for a run as to Wilson's instructions....I am perfectly content to ride slowly through the timber and just enjoy the view...Shy is used to tearing through the trails with Wilson!
After hearing all our stories of "the Beast", Jessica decided that she wanted to try riding him...and fell in love! He really is fun to ride! I think he understood all my threats of .."This is your last chance to behave!"
Freedom is doing incredible! Since we have our own trailer, we have been riding alot more! It has been good for the horses..they are all doing much better! We went down hills, up hills, across creeks, through mud, over fallen trees and in general had a marvelous time!
